Post subject:  Is it worth reading the game?
Hey all,
Ok so i'm interested to know do you think its worth reading the book, the game? For those that have did you get much out of it? Has it changed your success with pickup? Or is it now too popular and outdated to be of use?

I think its worth it! That was one of the books I enjoyed reading BIG TIME!!
I got a lot of it AND its thanks to that book that I started to get more serious into PU stuff.
It changed success with pickup it a way that I become more aware of stuff and remember while reading it making bunch and bunch of notes ^^ (I wish I could find them now.. :D )

It's a good motivational read. The PUA material in it seems outdated now, but it'll make you want to go out there and change your life.

great book. tons of fun.

i don't think the material itself is outdated, it's just that you progress with inner game and throw away some of the teachings you no longer need.

there is also dvd series from style called "annihilation method" that has more routines and theory regarding pickup.

the biggest minus for style's teaching imo is that it focuses too much on verbal game.

nowdays i kinda like combining style's verbal game and 60's physical escalation and mindset.

100% read it.
Even if you dont want to try things it is a great book.

It's a good story.

But I prefer the mystery method book way better.

It is a book... It doesnt require much effort to read it. Take 15 minutes out of your daily internet porn account and read, youll be done in notime.

Plus, yes it is worthwile reading, it has a lot of PU history in it and gives a good idea of what is out there. Plus it is very well written and gives you an idea of the concepts you will encounter. It is like an brochure of the hotel, it tells you where dinner is served and where the pool is and what time they serve breakfast. It is gonna make your time easier.
