Post subject:  True Love Or Just Two Lonely Sad People?

So first of all, I'm thinking of using this as an opener somehow because it seems like a great opinion opener that would get girls talking.

My friend met this girl, a month ago... twenty minutes later they were calling each other and talking on the phone. Yes.. he waited a whole twenty minutes to call her and she loved it. She's a catholic girl who's never had a boyfriend or ever been on a date.

So I am the guy's best friend.. but after two weeks, me and another friend found out he was looking up engagement rings, looking up houses and they even started building a wedding list together.

Now, I am all for people being happy but this seems like an intervention needs to take place.. or do they need to crash and burn to learn from their experience.. if they work out and live happily ever after, that's cool.

Do you think a situation like this is true love or just two crazy ass fucking people who are lonely and are glad they found someone who will pay attention to them?

thats a longass opener. saying "hey" would take a very small fraction of the time.

It's a real scenario, and it's something I could make into an opener and maybe my idea of a lifestyle I want is biased towards the situation so I wanted opinions.

I'm not going to deny or confirm the whole theory of love at true sight but in my opinion, it's just two people who never got attention or had people attracted to them and aren't used to the idea so this is amazing for them.

Like I said though.. my idea of a perfect lifestyle is living like Kid Rock with a different girl in bed every night in a mansion that's too big for words.

I guess I should specify.. while it is something I could make into an opener, I'm looking for opinions on the whole situation. I think we've all seen how relationships that go at the speed of light end.. so do you step in and innervate, or let it run it's course and crash and let it be a learning experience? Or do you just sit on the side line because it might be that a rare occasion that it lasts.
