Post subject:  Unresponsive when I opened?

Hey guys im new to this forum so go easy haha.
I Just need some help when sometimes when I open sets in bars and especially clubs, sometimes they tend to be unresponsive or not interested. It's weird cause i see them looking at me before i approach and i don't lean in etc..
So was wondering what do you guys do if the set is being unresponsive, when u opened..cause the last thing i want is being needy lol.
Thanks!

If you're going out frequently and approach lots of sets, you're inevitably going to encounter many unresponsive people along the way. Calibration comes into play here, you can either try ploughing through the interaction or cut your losses early and move onto other, more receptive sets - thus saving you time, especially if you opened pretty direct to begin with.

But by staying in set you should be self-amusing, building a thick skin (ie. remaining positive and not reacting negatively) and many times they will open up to you. If you know about the traffic light theory, you could consider them potentially going from "red" to "yellow" if you handle it properly. Just do the best you can, remember the principles and don't take anything personally.

Hi Chris, I appreciate the help , Im a fellow Aussie too :)
Like last sat, I saw a set and one of them there kept giving me a sideway glance so an IOI. I approached and said "Hey hows it going..having fun tonight ? :) but ya sometimes they just give you the minimal response.
So if i were to try and stay in that set, what do you mean by "calibration", can you give me some examples?
And ya by self amusing, do you mean like negging them or something?? any examples? cause this is my main flaw in my game :(

I appreciate it, if you guys can help me !
