escalation on a date - Stuck every time.

Post subject:  escalation on a date - Stuck every time.
Basically when I get a day 2 I don't really find a good point to start touching her or anything until its the "good bye kiss" I have that on automatic. After that it usually flakes, and usually after that I don't hear from them.

How do I escalate from the beginning on a date without creeping the target out. I've failed like 5 times already at the exact same point?

Also is it fair to assume if your on a day 2 you have free range to start really touching and hooking into the girl??

You should be starting kino on day one within about an hour or two. Start with a hug, then the arm touch, then shoulder touch, arm around shoulder, holding hands, then kiss, then of course take it from there. Just make sure it is mostly playful shit at the beginning. You have to get her used to touching you and being touched by you.

Yeah just like M2 said. 'The Claw' can also do wonders. If I'm not mistaken there is a detailed topic on that on this forum somewhere.

Yeah it isnt tough, its just like an oven, you got to keep ramping up the heat to get it cooking.

However, never seen the claw, do you have a link?

Well I'm pretty sure you are familiar with that and have done it even subconciously without noticing it. It is basicly nothing more than you putting your arm around the girl' neck. It is a very dominant position. This picture is a perfectly executed claw:

Oh hell yeah, I do that every date. LOL, kind of like a joking around type thing. Then I sort of push her away like "Alright, I am done with you"

Yeah I do it a lot, but not normally right off the bat. Plus I do the push away. I always wondered why that worked...

Thanks guys I'll deploy the claw at the right moment. I think once the conversation is dimming and we are standing or walking. Wow I can imagine the situation to do this.

It's about frame here, if you feel awkward doing it, she'll feel awkward doing it. It doesn't just depend on the girl here, but on you. Sure, some girls just don't like physical contact, but of you have a stronger frame, you can usually break through that.

If you feel natural doing this, so will she. Practice with your buddies. "Claw" them (without pulling them close to whisper in their ear like the picture ;) ), claw your grandmother, your little sister, etc. Practice with close family and friends to just become a touchy-feely guy.

Yeah I agree with this totally, I once took a girl out who hated PDA, but the end of the night I was leading her around (the two finger thing) doing the claw and even making out wherever we were.

Try comparing hands to get it started, like "Holy shit, you have tiny hands, here let me see" and compare hand sizes, or even try the cold reading routines, but hold their hands while you're doing it, like some palm reader or something(palm facing you or up)

An AWESOME way to escalate from the beginning of the date, especially if you don't know them very well yet, is to shake hands with them when you meet up with them. Hold it a little longer than you should and rub your thumb lightly along the back of her hand. Don't hold onto it forever, and be sure to drop it first, but this is an excellent way to start kino/sexualized contact in the first 30 seconds of the date, without seeming like you're going too far, like immediately hugging them would.

I hug--right at the beginning to get them used to it from the get go.

Hm. Hey, if it works, then sweet, I'll try it out.

I just know a lot of girls would be looking at you funny doing that. But then again I guess it doesn't matter unless they push you away completely which probably wouldn't happen. Good call, M2! ;)

I wonder if you could go straight for a cheek kiss the instant you see them. Hm... Something to experiment with.

Maybe if we perfect this, we could skip the whole date thing and start making out as soon as we meet up... Haha. Just kidding! ;)
