A lot of women have been calling me a flirt lately. For example, they text me, "oh DrStrutter! you're such a flirt! haha" How would you respond to these statements? And what does it mean when you're called a flirt? |

Many guys can fall into the trap of talking about themselves too much when a girl says something about them. Do you really want to do what EVERY other guy does? Do you really want to jump on HER frame like that? This is what every other guy does: Girl: You're such a flirt! Guy: *something related to him being or not being a flirt* This is an example of something I do: Girl: You're such a flirt! Chief: And you're beautiful I'm always trying to flip the frame so that we're talking about HER. And, really, if a girl tells you that you're a flirt, she just might really be saying "I like you," and that should be rewarded with a compliment! Or, if what she really meant was a shit test, you didn't respond to it if you just said something like "and you're beautiful" so you pass it. |

For me this would depend on the stage i am with this girl. If it's a girl i'm planning to sleep with i'd agree with Chief, i usually try not to talk about me when i have a choice. Girls love talking about themselves and with a response like that you give them the feeling it's all about them. I wouldn't say their beautiful, i have tried that but the girls around here will reply with stuff like: Really? :$ What's beautiful about me? I hate replying to questions like this so my reply would be something like 'And you're awesome!' On the other hand, if i already slept with this girl and she tells me i'm a flirt, i'd reply with something like: 'I'm glad you know it babe!  '. It implies that you're glad she knows and took it like something like she would understand if you move on to another girl. She doesn't like being used and will start chasing even harder since she'll be afraid of being thrown aside. Don't use this on very insecure girls tho, if she's very insecure and shy if would go with something like: 'I've got my moments '
