I need some advice, an outside look, what am I (not) doing? I've got past AA, I can open a good set and settle in, and I finally socially functional, been spending money on food, drinks, ect...Having tons of non-sexual fun, i'm getting tons of #'s...But, im still not K or F closing. I feel like I have NO idea how to escalate, and cant find much material on it. Basically, felt I had the chance to close atleast three chicks this week, and have not...You could say the sexual angst is escalating...haha. Case 1: Chick from school, we've known each other for 2 years, finally started to click, shes sitting there saying she loves me, spending a lot of time together, I was starting to have some serious feelings about her, and still do, then monday, hooks up with my business partner...after meeting him at my place...Been analyzing this every which way possible, and figure I just did not escalate it sexually in time. (I was really just playing it cool and was gonna let it happen when we were together one night). Kinda pissed off about it, really like her, hate that they hooked up, and hate my friend now...though I know he was just trying to get his...She said she was sorry about it, but I don't want 2nds....I do want sex, but not from her, now...Is that a wrong thought? Case 2: went to a bar Tuesday night, approached the first cute chick I saw, we talked for about 2 min, and I pulled the whole "gotta go hang with some people I know," deal. We saw each other again a few hours later, and hung out the rest of the night, sat next to each other close, shared a drink...It was very playful, then, it ended. I have her #, but I am wondering why we didnt hook up...was the perfect storm, felt like I was finally gonna get it, then I closed my tab, put my keys on the table, and motioned like, "lets leave"....I thought it was a done deal, my heart started to race...I got up, she got up, then said she said "night". Threw me on my head, and I opened another tab and got drunk. haha! Case 3: Well, case #3 doesn't matter, just made me even more sexually frustrated... Basically, where the hell do I learn physical and sexual escalation, how do I get the close...nothing I have read in my material has prepared me with the last 10 min at the bar and the close...should I have this instinctively or something? Last night I literally had a friend turn to a chick at a house party we had and said, and I quote... "Lets Smash", and they screwed in a spare bedroom....WHAT THE HELL...I am feeling really low right now...really, really low. Thanks. |

From the sounds of it the first case may be LJBF because of the amount of time you have known each other and the fact that sexuall escalation wasn't done at an appropriate time. In case two you should have been able to do something and I think if she had displaid any IOI's you could have gotten a K-close. I would suggest reading Double Your Dating by David DeAngelo. Just google "Double Your Dating by David DeAngelo PDF" It will not give you many if any real specific lines to use but rather the psycological approach and tactics to get you to the next level. I woul guess that someof your non-verbal behavior in these cases suggest that you want a hook-up. If you could tease and kinda confuse the target a bit more while doing kino I'm sure you will be much more succesful. |

Just wanted to say thank you so much, + Rep!...That book opened up my eyes, as did some of his other stuff...I thought I learned a lot by reading the mystery method and the game, and watching some of Gambler's stuff...pff, this was interesting stuff...going through some hard times but will be buying more of Davids stuff! I had heard of him in the Game, so it was interesting to connect the dots...Ross J next? Cocky funny is not me, so its taking some time, really pushing cocky funny has made some awkward moments and what not... I still, however, have no clue what I was doing wrong with old targets....new random targets I am meeting now are hook line and sinker...feels imporsonal now, just a game... |
