I work with a girl, she's an absolute star, personality wise a 10/10, looks wise a 10/10. She's had a boyfriend since i've met her, but has been single for a couple of months now. I've kinda used her as practice for my game. I spend most days negging her, telling DHV stories, making her laugh, joking that "i'm too good for her/out of her league" and telling her how selective i am with women. Over the past month or so i've started to notice a lot of IOI's - - Lots of contact, hugging, touching, hitting, pulling her chair over to me and resting her head on my shoulder, she's completely comfortable with me touching her too (i've seen how far i can push it and there's been no resistance so far. - She texts me pretty much everyday "i was watching _____ and thought of you", i get the "i was thinking of you" comment a lot from her... - She'll say things like "we're so similar in the way we think about relationships", "you're so funny, we so have the same sense of humour" - we always have each other in stiches talking/quoting comedies we're both into - a mate asked me what i was doing on valentines day, she shouted out "he's taking me out" - she made an issue out of me not putting any 'kisses' on the end of a text, i found this quite cute and gave the "you don't deserve a kiss" routine on her. Anyway, i'm quite wary about work romances, i usually steer well clear but i want this to happen. There's a celeb that she likes, which i give her grief for. She texted me to say he was up for some sort of award so i replied with "If he wins anything i'll take you out for a slap up meal all paid for by me!! You need talent to win awards so there's no chance haha x x" and she replied "Hahahaha i'm holding you to that Now i want to take things further but i'm completely clueless with turning a 'friend' into something more, i'm great with 'strangers' so would like some advice on the next step... |

Invite her to watch a movie at you're place i think is a very good option. Taking her out for a drink or dinner seems well not necessary because you both already know each other well and she is defintily into you. So for a example, go invite her at you're place and watch a movie and then kino her all the way up to the kiss. |

Top idea. I actually toyed with this idea a few weeks ago, whilst texting i suggested coming over to watch some of the comedies we're into and said i'd cook for her too and she said she'd like that. But then in work she hasn't mentioned it and i've not brought it up. In response to my message she replied "YOU OWE ME A MEAL!! He's just won an award hahahaha x x x". I thought i'd test the waters again and said "Haha go on then i'll take you out of a date i suppose! Next week... We'll go to that thai restaurant near work, not been for a while! x x x". She replied "Yes well up for that!!! x x x" What should i respond to that?! I know this may sound stupid, as these are pretty strong obvious IOI's but i had pretty much the same thing happen to me with a girl in another job (loads of IOI's) but it never came to anything and i got completely blown out. Hence me being wary... |

Follow through going out to dinner/lunch with her. It sounds like you're really over thinking this. Nothing you do right now is going to make your chances any better if you don't move forward and actually get some face time with her outside of work. Hope that helps. |

Appreciate the help... One thing i've failed to mention is that there is another guy on the scene. She met him on holiday when she had a boyfriend, nothing happened but they've kept in touch. He doesn't live in the area. It's a strange one, she thinks he's good looking but he comes out with some cringing comments by the sound of things. His ex cheated on him with his best mate, and on the holiday he kept telling her that he wants to get back with her (?). Sounds like a douche! She'll tell me about the cringing comments but from what she says she finds him really physically attractive. He's coming down (with his holiday mates) to see her and her holiday mates next saturday. We're both busy this weekend and we're on a late shift next week so i've not got any time to take her out before he gets here. I've a feeling that she wants a snog when he comes down but nothing more, which is frustrating as i've cranked up my game recently which resulted in these IOI's... How would you play this one?! |

Attempt to go out during the week for lunch. I'm a huge fan of spontaneous lunch outings. Mainly because I'm terrible at making plans, because I don't think that far ahead. I don't see the issue. You have a good 10 days before the dude shows up? I'd try to make something happen during a weekday lunch. However You sound like you might be pretty deep into the friend zone, which is quite difficult to come back from. However, unless you make moves it won't happen. It's evident that she isn't going to initiate any romantic relationship- the burden is on you. Stop being in your head so much- make moves. Stop worry about things you cannot control. If it doesn't pan out, you need to realize there's roughly three billion girls on the planet. The odds are in your favor. |

There are millions of girls but i can honestly say that in the past 2 years of being single, only 2 girls have 'appealed' to me. This isn't a case of one-itis but she's beautiful, slim but curvy, huge boobs, bubbly, fun, confident, sweet, loyal, cute, always happy, always positve, great banter, always laughing. There's not many like that about! I'm gonna make the plunge and ask her today, what should my text consist of? |

If you two are already close, I'd ask text her and ask her what she is doing. Riott: "What are you doing *insert whatever nickname you have for her*." I mean, a lot of people would say that that's too forward- but you make it seem like you two have quite a bit of social comfort. If she's free- try to get her to come out for lunch whatever. I like lunch because it's super casual and I like to go out at night. |
