Post subject:  Opening + Attraction

Hey guys,
I guess my sticking point would be that I seem to be having some trouble with opening sets. I can get quite good when I'm in a set where I got friends but when it comes to approaching some total stranger I just don't know how to appropriately open them. Could You maybe give me few lines I could remember and use in most cases (5 to remember is fine for field I guess, for starters)? And how to move the opener nicely to some routine? Smoothly build some attraction?

'Cause whenever I'm out with some friends I don't get approach anxiety and I don't approach 'cause I'm afraid, I don't approach 'cause I have absolutely no plan on how to start it from the scratch and have something to talk to for like 5-10 mins in.

What are your thoughts/advices?

Using openers and routines should only be your training wheels. I read your intro so I know you are pretty new. When I started out I used the dental floss opener and transitioned into a Cs vs Us DHV routine. The 2 go well together although I was once asked if I was a dentist... Hahaha, that was funny but it only happened once. I am going to give you the short version of the opener and the routine but it is not the lines that make it work but the process behind it... I will try and explain that as well. Let's start with the line and the routine.

Dental Floss Opener
=============
Hi guys, (Note: Guys, not girls, they are not objects of your desire at this point) I need you quick opinion on something (Note: Never say excuse me or make an excuse, your world, you have the right to interupt them, but don't be rude). It will only take a second then I have to rejoin my friends over there (FTC: gets rid of their awkward thoughts, "how long is he going to stay", etc). My friend (insert his name) and I have been argueing about this for the last 30 miinutes and cannot seem to agree.(Rooting your opener: Reason for asking them this question) It's a serious question so I hope I don't offen any of you... (Creates suspense: They are expecting something bad). Should you floss before or after you brush your teeth? (This is usually where they start laughing... To show them that I want an answer I say the following) I said you need to floss before you brush, what do you think?

Whichever answer they give I respond with either of the following:
1) That is what I said... It just makes sense to floss first... It was nice meeting you guys (Turn and start walking away... As you give the first step, turn back and say) Oh, before I go... (Stack into Style's Cs vs Us.)

2) Eeeewwww, so you have a dirty mouth too... Gross... (Simple little Neg). Well, it was nice meeting you guys (Turn and start walking away... As you give the first step, turn back and say) Oh, before I go... (Stack into Style's Cs vs Us.)

Cs vs Us
======
You know what? You have a C-Shaped smile (Dependant what type op smile she really has). I had this ex-girlfriend who had a theorie on the shapes of peoples teeth. She said that people with C-shaped smiles were perceived as open, friendly and approachable people whereas people with U-shaped smiles are perceived as bitchy. She believed in this so badly that she actually had a Dentist pull all her teeth and place permanent implants to shape her U-shaped smile into a c-shaped smile. Being a model she believed that was the only way to get on the cover of a magazine. I mean... Go look at the cover of any magazine, only the c-shaped smiles make it onto the cover. And guess what, sure enough a couple of months after her surgery she made it onto the cover of their local magazine... Can you believe it... (You now just need to have a normal conversation. Once you can attemp to open 5 sets and you succeed in open 5 set then only start moving on to the other stuff, small chunk your learning. There is no need to know how to have a foursome if you cannot open a conversation qwith a women first. Get it???)

That is a cool routine, but I thought a DHV to create attraction involved displaying 1) Protection 2) Leader of men 3) Pre-selection 4) Willingness to emote? IDK, maybe I am way off... that is just what I was reading in one of Mystery's books.

Hard to come up with story that conveys all these attributes. Few of them is nice Vince's post is very helpful. I thought that maybe someone could pop in here few more ideas like that (just 3-4 more will do I guess) then that'd be awesome for me to start off :).
