| Post subject: | Need Advice: Trouble at Club |
Hey all. The same thing happened to me twice tonight at a club that bothered me, so I decided to ask for some pointers from a 3rd person view. Context: Twice, I approached with no problems. The first girl was dancing with a friend who went away after I began dancing with her, and the second girl was alone. My approach for the first one was direct, me asking if she wanted to dance. My approach for the second one was more lengthy where I asked her where her friends were and teased her. In short, I opened well and confidently for both and, in my opinion, they weren't turned off at all and were rather interested a bit. The situation became similar for both after that. Both times I made sure to push and pull, playing hard to get but not excessively. I teased them while dancing and came off as cocky-funny; in short, they seemed like they were having fun. However, even though I thought things were going well and that I would be able to escalate soon, they both told me that they had to leave and go find their friend/friends. I didn't follow them and just politely agreed to let them go off and went back to my friends. ***This is the problem: I feel like I did something wrong for them to lose interest in me and retreat back to their girlfriends; I just don't know WHAT I did wrong. Also, later tonight when I was leaving the club, I saw both girls dancing with other guys. TL;DNR: So, to make it short, what could I have done different / what else could I have done to keep these girls' interest? If I didn't give enough details just ask and I will add more. btw, sorry for the wall of text |
