| Post subject: | Cultural boundary? |
Hi, I'm a rAFC and it's my first post here. So I've been gaming an older girl (but only by 1 year) for a few weeks now. We're from the same ethnic background and in our culture, the younger guy must call the older girl by a word which literally means 'older sister' (which I obviously do NOT want to see her as and vice versa as 'younger brother'). So recently, I've been calling her by her name instead of that word but I still feel restrained under our culture. In many cases, girls would prefer older guys over younger guys (since they tend to be more alpha I guess). I've teased her a lot, I've been cocky & funny, escalated a little bit of kino and all, built some rapport, trying to be alpha. Essentially, I think I'm having problems trying to create attraction. I don't want to be LJBF'd just because of a 1 year age difference (I know you guys will likely say she's only older by a year but in our culture, age means A LOT). Have you guys ever been in this kind of situation? How did you guys overcome it? P.S. We actually have quite a bit in common so I'm seeking a LTR with her instead of just a bang. |

You're thinking too much. This is only and issue if she makes a big deal about it If she doesn't care, then you shouldn't either. Don't let customs and morals hold you back from living your life. There are so many excuses for you not to do ANYTHING in life. Why let yourself be trapped? And besides if you've been "cocky funny", the older sister designation doesn't mean anything between you both. Be Brave. |
