Quick backstory: HB9 used to be obsessed with me in college had a pair of underwear with my name on it for the purpose of wearing the first time we f-closed. I had a girlfriend at the time and constantly turned her down (yes very hard) eventually fooled around with her (once) but stayed with my gf. 3 years later she got engaged and I broke up with my ex. Just a month and a half ago her engagement suddenly breaks off. I wait a bit contact her and tell her I am going to be in her area meeting a friend and we should meet up. There is an instant reconnection lots of IOIs and the first night takes me back to her new place (just moved in that weekend, moved out from her fiance) but we don't even k-close. Just talk a lot she explains her ex-fiance's drug problems and she goes into a lot of her other failed relationships. Basically hints at that she isn't looking for guys right now. I sleep over but nothing happens. No awkwardness (feels friend zoney) but we make a lot of jokes about our past together. Now we don't live close but I go down there every once in a while to visit friends and am even looking to possibly move down there. Looking for tips. Should I: Give her space but stay around here and there until next time I go down. Try and start conversations and build back the connection we had. Leave her alone until next time I visit. I have texted and written on her wall she replied both times (took a while) but she isn't initiating any contact. I just don't want to be over bearing when she is still obviously hurting from a broken up engagement. |
