Ok, so this happens with most women, but not all. Whether I'm walking down the street, standing around somewhere, sitting down somewhere, on a subway or bus, this always happens. I'm not a bad looking guy and I even do part time modeling for fashion or hairstyling magazines. I realize many women are "busy" aka not interested in talking with me, but some are most likely shy? It is like everyone is scared of me. This happened to me all the time when I lived in the US and China, so I know it isn't just because I'm not Japanese. So why do people have no issue looking at other people, but not with me? Maybe I have an intimidating face or sharp facial features? Maybe I don't smile enough? I sometimes smile at people naturally and they still avoid me lol. I even had a woman literally slowly do a 180 to turn her back to me as I walked by her and she whipped back around after I passed? The strange thing is when I looked back, she was looking at me but not giving me a shitty look, but more of a curious look. I have had women literally whiplash themselves as they quickly jolt their head in a random direction just to avoid making eye contact? They also tilt their umbrellas to hide their faces? I really don't get it because I'm often glancing for a second, not even staring... They almost always brush their bangs back or pull them behind their ears, which could be an IOI, but maybe a nervous tick as well? Do women and people in general often act strange like this to anyone on here? |

I have my doubts that literally everybody on here hasn't experienced this behavior from countless women. Maybe nobody has any advice on the topic. |

You ask some of the oddest questions. Most of the time I believe you are trolling because of it. I am an average looking guy. Most women will tell me that I'm "cute" and if I give a smile to them with eye contact, most of the time it gets returned. If you are really having this problem you need someone to observe you because unless you are a good looking guy with creepy facial expressions, it's going to be difficult to diagnose other people reacting to a nonverbal scenario like this one.
Maybe nobody has any advice on the topic. |

Sounds like you're picking up a lot of information for someone that isn't starring. Aside from that though, it sounds like you're caring incredibly too much. I get starred at by women and men everyday, but I don't give a damn whether or not they're starring at me because they like me or because they don't. I simply just don't care. If I'm going to approach I'm going to approach whether they were starring at me or not. I care more about my ability to transition from an approach to a lay than I do about the purpose of someones gaze. What are you going to do with the gaze? If you're going to do nothing, it shouldn't even matter. |

Well, my point is based on someones's gaze, I might make a move or not. I'm saying that women will check me out or seemly do so and then pull a 180 on me if I approach. I'm just trying to avoid situations like this, but I guess as long as there are other human beings around me...it is impossible. I have been ignoring, not caring about and avoiding women lately. Once in a while, I will hit on a woman that gives me IOI's without suddenly trying to avoid all eye contact if she realizes I have taken notice.
Aside from that though, it sounds like you're caring incredibly too much. I get the feeling you're facial expression is just serious and that will make them look away At least break the ice when you make the eye contact with a smirk: - Pull your tongue at her - Raise your glass in a 'Cheers' motion - Tip your imaginary cowboy hat - Point at her - Motion her to twirl around then give her a *thumbs up* - A cheesy infantile wave - Point to something that you notice bout her with a thumbs up. (non-verbal compliment) - And much, more Once you get this down, you can make really subtle meta-communication. It's like seeing the matrix. This one time, I was sat down and made eye contact, as soon she looked at me, I patted the seat next to me hinting for her to sit down next to me and instantly looked away (To make it seem like a didn't care at all) - This shit is hard when it's the 1st interaction of the night. But when you're in the groove it's pretty easy to spot a girl, lift your nose up at her and then break the ice. This is all I do, I rarely cold approach these days but i get rejected less and get laid more without having to spam out the place asking girls RSD-style if they like potatoes or some shit If you just stare at a girl like a rapist, they ain't gonna smile back |
