I live in Taiwan, and I'd say at least 60% of the prospects I approach, I "have to" walk away from, because their English level is too low. I've heard it claimed that this need not be a barrier, and that SDL's and FB's are possible here, although an LTR or STR or any dating of course can't happen. I'm skeptical, but open-minded! It would be great if I wasn't losing so many prospects, as where I live, the prospects are pretty few and far between. I'm getting an approach rate of probably .75 per hour or so when I go out, and I don't have that much time to go out in the first place. |

In Taiwan as far as I know you speak Mandarin... why the sudden need for English there? |
