met a girl friday night on the street, chatted it up. Considering I was drunk, lets just say my words werent the correct ones. I even forgot her name during the initial interaction and she had to say it again....but through all of this she still liked me and her friend were saying to keep chatting.
anyways, fast forward she took my phone and put her number in after i said we should hang out again in the future.
So sat afternoon rolls around, i wake up figure i send a text. (too early?)
There was already texts in the phone, the first ones being from the night before:
me: "hi sally" her: "hi shawn" her: sean her: shane
So when i woke up in the afternoonish sat, i thought ok, let me respond to this
me around 1pm: "i cant imagine how retarded i must have sounded yesterday. But can we redo this interaction Sally
and its Shawn" her about 4pm: "haha don't worry about it!" her 3 min later: "it was nice meeting you "me about 1.5 hours later: "so when are we seeing each other again? im curious to learn more"
Now I know what some of you are going to say and that is move on, NEXT. But i have always sucked at text game, so I want to use this to basically see what would be the better way to have handled it. I feel like my last line was stupid, maybe it was too soon to ask that question? I just want your opinion on how the text flowed or should have flowed..including how long i should have waited before i sent it.
