Always making up some feeble excuse. Its a pattern I find hard to break.

I guess a good way to put this is that sexual tension makes me really antsy and makes me want to leave the scene immediately. I have NO idea why. It happens almost EVERY time: a hot girl will show interest in me and I will get shy and not know how to react. So I either try to de-sexualize the conversation or leave the set entirely. And then later on when I have gathered some balls and try to re-open the set, I find out the girl isn't interested anymore (probably because now I appear thirsty and socially retarded). I have no problem flirting to be fun with friends, but when there is a hot girl whose actually interested in me I start getting nervous and feeling like I need to leave immediately. It's NOT the pressure of not wanting to fuck things up because it's not like I get in my head and start thinking about what to say next. I just feel like "Oh shit, this is getting sexually tense, I need to leave." Like I feel nervous or something. If a friend who wasn't a sexual prospect would say the same things in a joking way, I would just play along and be funny. But when it's a real girl, it's different, I feel a way I can't really explain. It's like embarrassment kind of but not exactly. Anyway, I oddly kind of like the feeling, lol, but it's stopping me from getting girls I really like. So: how do you guys stay cool when the sexual tension is building? Does anybody else get this? And if so, how do you manage it? |

My question would be is, how do you want to react in this situation? If you know how you want to react, get it in your mind of that's how you are going to react. These are just girls. Don't be scared of them. It also seems like you need to start approaching more women as well. |

Expand your pool of hot women friends so you're very comfortable around hot women. As the other poster said: approach more women. |

I posted the question because I approach often and this happens to me often. I want to know how to get rid of it as a problem. Do you have any tips for that? Also, I don't know how I'm supposed to react or how I want to react, that is why I am asking. I would like to be able to escalate sexually and stay cool but that is hard to do if I also have to refrain from seeming desperate or lame. |

The question sounded like you weren't doing the approaching. That's why I misunderstood it. If a girl is talking sexual with you and you are not sure of what to do or say, say this "Don't start something that you can't finish." and look her in the eyes when you say it and be confident. Watch her reaction...if she looks down and back up at you, you are in complete control because she is showing signs of submission to you. You can test her compliancy in front of the set in various ways but ultimately you want isolation from the set so you can escalate to the point of kissing and ultimately leaving with her. |
