Can someone please suggest a video I can watch or series that addresses my issue. It's two parts. I'm looking for a video or something to read that addresses both at the same time as they're related. First of all I have anxiety, specifically it is when there's like say 2 chicks and 2 dudes or like 3 dudes 2 chicks or even 4 chicks and 2 dudes. I get anxiety when I think there's a dude guarding the hotter one of the bunch who I want to talk to. I'm usually solo or the person I'm with is usually a bad wing, so I'm usually someone to stare and never walk up, I mean if i have a few drinks its easier but is there a way to approach easier without a drink or two? Second and this is related to the first part whenever I walk up to a girl I usually will complement them on what they're wearing, share an observation, or just say hi, usually the convo dies very shortly after either in 5 seconds right after thanks or whatever they say back or whatever I have for a followup like "is this your first time here?" something like that. I've noticed my friend who succeeds in getting the number (but he's horrible at actually hooking up) can get most girls in a conversation for like 15-20 minutes about like sports or their hometown, he has a good memory so he recalls like random facts about where they're from and does this like psychic guessing game on their background, that usually works to charm most girls especially when drunk. Bottom line where is there a video that deals with approaching groups of people when solo and how to get in and get out kinda thing in the best way. I feel if you're not doing the group thing right or maybe isolating you get cock-blocked pretty fast by their friend, so that has to be addressed. I've watched a lot of PUA videos and none of them have really helped me at all. |

So, if it dies 5 seconds in, it wasn't a conversation to start with. Try some of this: If you open with a compliment, you follow up should be about that same thing. "Nice dress" is to be followed by "where'd you get it?" "What is that pattern/fabric called? Or "it looks just like my grama's sofa cover". Ask people passing questions about others standing there: is she always like this? I need to watch out for this one, don't i? Or why do you put up with her? Talk more and focus on keep more of a thead to the conversation. |
