I consistently have trouble with kiss closing. Last night i had a girl alone in a room with me and i froze. Any thoughts? This happens all the time for me. |

It happens to a lot of guys. You just have to go for it. It's like AA. How do you solve AA? You just go out and desensitise yourself to it. You need to do this with closing. Keep at it. You'll get IOIs, she'll be into you and she might not kiss you. This does happen sometimes and it's nothing on you. You just need to expose yourself to it. Once you get used to it you'll stop caring so much about the if's, but's or maybe's. You'll just go for it and either you'll close her or you won't. Either way you'll get an answer and learn to just brush it off. 90% of the time when you feel you can kiss a girl you will be able to kiss her, she just wants you to make the move. Keep that in mind: Our bodies and our unconscious are better at determining interest and when to go for it than our consciousness are. |

Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to this. I agree with the above poster that the only way to desensitize yourself is by going for it. A lot of my fears stemmed from me thinking that it would be sexual abuse to go in for a kiss without asking. In my experience, girls are usually flattered that you want to kiss them. Even if they reject you, it doesn't mean that there won't be another opportunity later. Some girls are saying "yes, but not right now." Once you feel enough pain, you may become more willing to try going for it. Pain and loneliness is a great motivator. Maybe you need to be lonely for a bit longer until you're ready? I know this sounds harsh, however it was the truth for me. |
