Speaking to busy women/people is something I have a HUGE challenge with. As a professionally-minded person, I know the consequences of interruption. It takes a minimum of 15 minutes to get back into the groove, but, more importantly, it pulls out a significant source of energy from your day. In other words, I need to have a value-add at the level of Brad Pitt to justify that kind of interruption--which is why I prepare my ass off and figure out all the ways to add value to her in the first 20 minutes of the interaction so that I can overcome this. Maybe this just needs a reframe, parts integration, chain of anchors, or overall identity change to destroy. My current solution is to write 20 answers to "How To Add The Maximum Value And Attraction To The Group I Screen/Approach In The First 20 Minutes" and act on these solutions. If I do this, the ability to justify approaching a busy person will have jumped dramatically. Even as I do this, I'm curious if there's a better solution. If you have any ideas, I thanks you in advance for your thoughts on this. |
