I've been doing this kind of part-time for about a year now, and I've adopted a very natural style from watching RSD etc.. I've found that my sticking point is in the opener and the small talk immediately after it. I think this is more to do with what RSD call state, as I either have entire nights on or off, and I can tell when I'm openeing that I don't have the energy to make her want to carry on the conversation. I was wondering whether anyone who uses the same sort of techniques has any little tricks for getting "in the game". Thanks. |

Calibrate after you open. Not before.Stop making such a big deal about the opener. Your opener is probably the least important part of pick up. Just fucking talk. A girl will never tell you once you have her in bed "wellllll... I didn't like your opener, so I'm gonna go ahead and leave." Start opening and reading body language and calibrate from there. If you are having a hard time talking about random shit... Watch Curb Your Enthusiasm and observe the way Larry David talks. He talks about anything and everything. BE INTERESTING. |
