I had this problem, too. Here's a really easy way to do it. Once you've got some good comfort going and the conversation is on a high note, drop a Juggler-style SOI, pause for half a second to let it sink in, then quickly change the subject. You really don't want her to respond to that statement verbally, unless she has a really quick response, but you don't want to linger on it at all. In fact, don't even acknowledge if she does respond, just keep on talking about what you were talking about before.
Here's an example:
You: Do you play an instrument?
Her: Yeah, the sitar and the mandolin.
You: I find musician girls really sexy..How many scales do you know?
Her: I've got more scales than a chinese dragon.
You get the idea. The important thing to note is that it's a ".." after the SOI, not a "..."
You can do this with anything about her that is unique and because you change the subject before she responds, you can gauge her response without any actual rejection. You'll be able to tell if she likes you or not after that.
