| Post subject: | On the challenge of approaching HB11s |
Note to the moderators: I say that this is an SP because it has happened to me several times that I can approach 7s or 8s, but approaching 9s, HB10s and HB11s is consistently giving me a hard time. I portray this one specific situation just to give people a context to work with. I say all of this because I'm aware of the forum rules for the SPs section, so please don't get me banned guys! Now, to my problem: There’s a girl in my university that I really like, and the big problem is… I’m still a beginner in this whole thing, and I can’t totally get rid of my AA. Before giving you guys a closer insight on my problem, let me say that I go to a very small university. It specializes on politics and international affairs, and it has only one career: International Relations. That means that the number of students is incredibly small: only around 25 people get admitted every 3 years. Why do I mention this? Because as much as I enjoy my studies and my career, it’s a terrible environment for sarging. Back to the point. The girl that I like is from an earlier promotion and she’s about to graduate, which means that she’s at least 3 years older than I am (another reason, or shall we say excuse for the AA). I’ve already k-closed girls that are 5 years older than I am, but I gotta be honest with something. My last two k-closes have been with an 8 and a 7 (no offense intended), and this girl is an HB11. I’ve never even approached an HB11, but I really need to start approaching this kind of girls, because this is the life that I want. I usually see this girl in the library, and I have a window of opportunity of about 15-20 mins. What do I do? Note that I could use some step-by-step help, since this would be my first approach to an HB11. Thanks in advance for any advice. |

I got one question first: Why have you not opened with her? |

You can't reach anything if you won't open to her (or you can magically hope she opens to you but ...) The might be a 9/10/11 but she is still a girl. She will only act different if you treat her different. Get your game together, stay calm, try to go fora get-together without a 1on1. Go to the same party, try to do something with a group of people ..(all students) then start chatting.. |

Teh_Weapon: why haven’t I opened… beats me… I guess I still have some left-overs of AA, particularly with 9s, 10s and 11s. I think I’m missing something on inner game or something like that. Thedutchone: you know what, now that you say it, I do treat girls differently when I think they’re particularly attractive. I guess a part of me still tells me something like “that girl’s out of your league, pal”. Very basic stuff, I know, but I guess I haven’t finished dealing with such things. I need A LOT of practice… Thanks for the replies guys. |

Once when I had a problem with my game, I emailed Style or Neil Strauss as he better known and asked him what my problem was. I don't want to get into how it all went down but he gave me a good piece of advice I want to pass on: if a woman is a 9 or a 10 then do this: Picture her older... Or when she was a chubby middle school kid... with braces... Magnify her flaws... Get to a place where you almost feel sorry for her. His words to me, verbatim, hope that helps. |

There are no HB11's you are pedastalling. Better to under rate a women that over rate imo |

Being a fan of Neil Strauss myself I really appreciate your post man. I'll definitely use that techinique to stay focused on my game instead of being focused on whatever's intimidating about a 9, 10 or 11. Thanks for the advice, I hope to post a FR on a HB soon. And I'll definitely avoid pedestalling from now on. |
