I, for one, would not recommend sending those texts, especially about going to the gym. To me, it's degrading and out of line.
The biggest problem people face when texting is sending the actual text in the first place. What's the point? You went out, met a girl, and got her number. THAT SHOULD BE YOUR MINDSET!!!
Let her come to you. When you get her number, call or text her right then so she has yours, and Go Find Ten Other Women. Aquire an abundance of women and pick which one you want. Stop chasing the one you met last night.
On another note, one out of a hundred or so (or less) women you meet out in the social scene will qualify for a day2. Make it a Monday-Wednesday night casual get-together and state your intent. That should be your reason for getting her number in the first place.
Making out at the bar doesn't mean you should get her number, unless you want to be polite, let alone give her a call. If there's something you both connected on in conversation, like that new cafe you both haven't been to, or the Mexican restaurant you both love, give her a call.
Maybe you don't feel like making anything tonight and you decided you'd rather go out at the last minute.
Leave Thursday-Saturday for bro-time. Early weekdays are for meetups, so you both have something to chat about when you're pre-gaming on Friday. When she's drunk on the weekend, she'll hit you up if your day2 went well.
