I'm starting to see these friendzone posts all over the forum, and there are big misunderstandings about them what I'd like to make clear. Because the main reason you don't get the girl is not that you're a friend of her. I can't count the amount of friends I have who were at first friends and then months or even years later they started dating. What did these guys do then? First of all, they never really wanted to be with her so badly, it just somehow happened. They didn't treat that woman friend as superior to themselves, they treated them as equal. And as long as they remain equal, all that needs to be done is just one moment of spark, which popped for whatever reason, to catch, and then it's just on. So to all you friendzoned people! STOP treating her like she's out of your league. STOP being her therapist. STOP doing her favors for no reason whatsoever. STOP being a wussy and grow some balls. STOP idealizing her and look at her the way she really is. Know her for real. Like her for what she is, not for what you want her to be. And for God's sake STOP whinning about the situation because she is NOT the only woman who is suitable for you. That's a definite truth. This may not get you your greatly deserved one-itis, but it can make you realise that your efforts for over years have been, and will be completely pointless, and what you really seek is not what you've been thinking so far. If she really IS the girl for you, you WILL match, if not, then just move the fuck on. NEVER develop feelings for someone who you haven't at least kissed(but preferably fucked) It just makes life so much easier. You can not know for sure if this relationship would work until you are in the relationship. |
