Ive started paying attention to group dynamics, and one thing I notice that every now and then in groups (both in friends i am hanging out with and sets i go sarge at) will easily loose interest in whatever im talking about. I will notice that while im saying something one or two will start talking or look away or start texting or something like that, so from those little things i know i dont have their full attention. Even when im with friends ill say something then get interrupted without them realizing it and whatever im talking about is quickly forgotten. i know its very important with "how" you say things more than "what" you say. so any advice on ways to keep the groups attention? |

Are you talking just for the sake of talking? Or are you talking about something that you're authentically interested in or passionate about... When you speak about something, no matter what the topic is, you should speak about it with CONVICTION... |

Use gestures and let your voice go up and down, fastforward and slowmotion, take pauses. Short: learn some eloquence. |
