What should I say to a girl when she compliments me on my shirt or that I'm way cooler than some other guy that her friend says I look like? Or when I'm juggling and they go off about how cool it is?

"Compliments will get you nowhere."

I tried this once and got such a reply:

"Well, they sure got me your attention!"

"Lucky you..." From then on, I tried putting her in a position that she needs to prove herself. It worked.

In this way, I took control of her opener.

Alternatively, you can freeze her out a bit and DHV.
Think about how would a HB 10 react to a compliment, and do something similar to what she would do.

THis is something that honestly needs to be implemented into my game. I haven't yet found a line that does exactly what I want it to do.

I usually say something along this line...

HB: Hey, I like yoru shirt, it looks really good on you
You: I think it personally looks better on the floor but thanks

HB: Your way cooler then that other guy blah blah
You: You should be thankful I'm not charging you

HB: Wow, you can juggle?! Thats so cool.
You: Yeah, I'm pretty good with my hands

Nothign special, I don't even think they are amazing, but definitely better then a typical Thanks.

If you're trying to do the whole "cocky" thing why not just say something simple like:

"Well thanks, you have good taste"

Jack, I think I'll try something similar to the good with the hands one. The shirt looking good on the floor might work once you've built a bit of attraction and have progressed a bit, but otherwise its a bit too overt and shows that you're interested in her.

AshleyL thanks, I think I'll use that one.

Dont like it. the whole point is to not throw compliments at her, like an AFC

Its only gonna work if you say it with just the right cockyness. Then its gonna come off almost like a neg. Its only complimenting the fact that she likes that it looks good on you. It would work even better if you saw someone else wearing the same or almost identical shirt and you say something like "But look at the shirt that guy is wearing....*look over at her and make sure she realises they are the same shirt, then look back at the other guy*...Just TERRIBLE! "

I'm not saying it's the best EVER, but it's not going to be an "AFC" quote unless you make it seem like you're hanging on her every word.

By saying "Hey, thanks... you have good tastes *WINK*" is kinda like complimenting yourself.

What you could say instead is just a simple reword... instead of telling her you have great taste, tell her... "you must have great taste" sounds less complimentary and more jokingly cocky...

My favorite reply to a compliment like that is...
hb "i like your shirt/hair/hat/pants/watch" or what ever...
PUA "no your dont, your just attracted to me"

think about yourself... you typically wont just go up to someone and say "i like your xxxx....." unless your attacted to them... same rule applies to women

My response to those are really easy...

HB: I like your shirt!
Me: (I look down at my shirt like its not my best shirt) Are you Flirting With me?? hahaha

HB: wow, you can Juggle? that's so cool
Me: are you flirting with me? you should be ashamed of yourself! hahahah

She's expecting a "thanks" and she gets a curve ball instead. I get a laugh all the time and gives me a chance to KINO...

Question guys. How about this I think it'd be pretty funny.

HB: I like your shirt.

Me: Thanks I picked it myself (and laugh)

Forgive me if this is totally AFC or Noob

Sorry, but that is AFC. I think next time I get a compliment on my clothes I might reply with "THANKS! My MOM has GREAT taste! :D :D :D " Yes, there is lots of emphasis and stress on those words and a massive grin afterwards.

Yea, I thought about that. It's definitely way better than what I said earlier. I think I might use that sometime.
