HB has a bitch wall and makes a stupid comment about what I'm wearing... and I say... "Wow you're cute, your IQ however just dropped about 2 points" and she kept a serious face and her friends kinda giggled... was that okay??? |

Without reading anything beyond your first post, I can see that she IOIed you and you didn't realize it. "Wow you're cute, your IQ however just dropped about 2 points" and she kept a serious face and her friends kinda giggled... was that okay??? Your response was not so good because it was a flat out insult (the best negs are either a mix of negative and positive or NEITHER negative nor positive). Any response that was relevant to her comment about your clothes would have been much better. For example: "It's not my fault your sense of style is so unique (make quoting gesture with fingers, and then smile at her)." you could even say something that is in no way negative or insulting, like: "You just watch, next year EVERYONE is going to be wearing this shit (gesture towards your clothes)". See how that's nicer, wittier, more confident, etc... than saying "you're dumb"? cocky =/= asshole |

I think what you said did it's job well. Her friends even laughed, so it was an even larger DLV. As long as you said it while smiling, you should be fine. What happened after this? |

WOW you guys are so helpful... I guess I was so into my story I missed the IOI Thanks... question... I have my own business and I actually walk around malls and look for sharp people to recruit... every now and then I'll come across some HBs and one that I always drop by and say hello to, who works in those Make-up booths, now is showing some IOI's but its hard to tell... what would you guys respond to if she were to say playfully, "Go away and get to work!" ???? |

agree with the appearence neg thing.. was talking to a girlfriend of mine and she said that girls wanna feel that their irresistable, and if a guy throws a small neg about how she looks she will try and get him to change his mind and will come after him even more |
