OK, I got this idea from watching an episode of Mad Men, apologies if someone has already come up with this (someone probably has ha). Did a brief search and couldn't see anything. So you're with a wing and a target/ targets ask what you do for a living: Target: 'So what do you do?' *Look at wing with smile as if hiding something from target* You: 'Shall we tell her/ them?' Wing: 'Hmm I dont know..' You: 'OK, but you're sworn to secrecy if we tell you' Target: 'OK' *Look like you're about to tell her* Wing: 'I don't think she's the type to keep a secret..' *Target then qualifies herself to you both* You: Say some funny job OR don't reveal anything << I'm not sure what the best ending would be, any ideas? This causes tension, maybe some DHV and cockyness in the way that you and the wing are hiding something from her. It's nothing major but mainly it causes her to qualify herself to you that she's trustworthy. Would appreciate some feedback as I've just thought of it and haven't used it yet. |

It's good but reember not to push it too hard . One joke is funny but if you over use it she'll feel like you've got something to hide. At one point you will have to tell her When the HB ask 'what do you do?' that's an IOI. You can use this opportunity to DHV. Girls are attracted to guys who're passionate in what they do. |

Last night I stuck to a line I read on a forum: HB: So what do you do? CO: I'm a professional dolphin shaver. HB: What? CO: I shave dolphins. HB: Really? CO: Well, have you ever seen a hairy dolphin? HB: Um, I guess not... CO: That's because of guys like me. Its much better than telling her the boring truth anyway! |

Im not a huge fan of wingmen(they seem to F things up more than anything). I think the best way to have ended off that answer to your occupation was to just not answer it. Control the frame and cut that thread(which's hers). BTW,why the hell would you even let her succ you into her frame by asking you rapport- building questions. Leave the rapport out until you've isolate the damn chicc and dont get succed into asking nor answering beta-male questions. Sorry for being so harsh though. |

k-loc, I agree, I work best on my own instead of with a wing as well but I think a lot of people often work with wingmen so thought it would be useful. Good to hear your viewpoint, I kinda agree that you should end it by changing the topic or not answering as this leaves some of the tension open and you're in control but would be good to hear other peoples opinions. A genuine question: why do you say to not build rapport before you isolate her? I usually build rapport with a girl and her mate/ mates before isolation but I guess people use different types of game.. cheers |

Excepions to everything guess. A target would(quality one)would reject your attempts at rapport-building if she doesnt feel comfort as yet. I forgot which PUA wrote about this but he stated that,trying to build raport pre-maturely is like when a vagrant approaches you to beg for money. Some usually look to build rapport in order to acquaint to get some change. So,when a guy tries to build rapport too fast,the target senses it and now feel that she's the prize. Let her seek rapport and not the other way. But,exceptions to everything. |
