When i first open a set i try to choose a target so that i can pay less attention to her and neg her. But what i often find myself doing is going away from the game plan a little and i start negging all of the obstacles as well. I only do this when one of the obstacles set themselves up to be negged though, which by the way happens a lot, it's hard to resist. Is this a bad idea to neg the obstacles as well as the target? What i find will happen a lot of the time is i will start getting ioi's from the obstacles.
