Post subject:  self-depracating humour
just wondering where self depracating humour fits in the grand scheme of things. the thing is, this is the type of humour i'm so use to using to make people laugh, and its easy for me to make fun of myself, but where does it become a DLV versus just being funny?

You know I'm not sure. I have the same rapport with my friends. I joke about myself all the time.
I think the thing to keep in mind, maybe, is not to go overboard with it. It's ok for a few jokes to come at you, but you must be able to deal with them swiftly and confidently before they take root and affect your image as a PUA. In a way your friends are AMOGing you, so perhaps they need to know you can AMOG them back. If your situation is like mine, you're doing that already.
You don't want to appear weak in front of women. That's our whole thing here, look confident, be confident, get laid...confidently. Haha. :lol:

Depends on where the humor is coming from.

If it is coming from a person who is trying to IMPRESS others and get them to like him, its gonna go no where and they can see how much of a chode that person is.

If it comes from a person who is doing it to amuse himself and he doesn't give a fuck about what others think about it, its coming from the right place.
