I have a routine that involves a pair of dice (pinky red and blue) that I carry with me and a tattoo on my thigh... of dice, the same colour. I use it after the initial opener, and try to link into it by getting the target to talk about a decision she needs to make or a dilemma, or even whether to or who should buy the next drink. In fact, most opinion openers leads to further questions, and that's when I say, "Hey, well when I'm stuck for a decision, I use my dice." And then I could ask, "Do you believe in fate?" and then ask her to state a number between 1 and 6 and roll the dice - often, the number lands on at least one of the dice, or you can add the dice together or subtract or anything and get to their number. Works best when one of the dice lands on the number they said though obviously! Then, I use a very simple dice trick. I ask her to pile the dice on top of each other, and not to let me even see the sides. And I tell her that I can "guess" the total value of the two faces on the dice touching each other and the face touching the table (i.e., all the hidden faces) just by touching the top face. The trick is simple. The answer is 14 minus the value of the top face. This can easily be done for any number of dice - the opposite sides of all the dice below the top one add up to 7. But this has worked on every girl I've tried it with so far, and they are astonished. Another dice trick is to place the dice in a pint glass and say that you can add the numbers on the bottom without looking simply by dipping your finger in the top and rubbing it on your forehead. I haven't tried this drink yet, but I think most girls would be amazed at this too. Then use the dice afterwards to make any number of decisions - like should they give you their number, who buys a drink next, their place or yours!! The list is endless, and if you lose out on any, you can always roll the dice for another decision. It's luck of the roll, but there's no limit to the number of rolls (until they get bored of course, but keep the rolls interesting!). For my final reveal, I tell them I have a tattoo of these dice on my thigh, and they usually want to see it. But this is where I tell them to be patient, they can see it later, then ask if they have any tattoos and ask to see them in exchange. |

Like the post man, although I'm more a man of random chance than fate but that's a whole other topic. But I do the same I have a die, which is my lucky charm and find it cool to bring out at times. It's especially useful when a girls say they are spontaneous, you can challenge them on it and say 'okay prove it'. Like you said the list of options/choices you can use are endless and you can have some real fun with it. Did you ever read the book 'The Dice man' by any chance? |
