Mystery suggested that PUA's wear at least one piece of clothing or accessory that can be used for women to come and pick you up, a conversation starter. I've tried this a number of times and had some luck with it. Maybe I'm just in a artsy part of town or something I dunno. I've gone into a few quiet bars and drank a beer or something while writing in a small notebook. Observing people and writing about them. And I try not to make it a secret that I'm doing it. So far, people become slightly paranoid about what you're writing and I've had a few girls come up to me and ask if I was a writer, or a poet or something. I usually tell them I'm just starting out, and stretching my literary muscles. It's an intersting piece and I wouldn't suggest it to everyone, but I think it kind of worked for me. At least once in a while. What opinions do you have? |

So your carrying a notebook to the bar, sit there, doodle, and wait for a girl to approach you? I'm sorry macbeth (I can see how you like literature) but I think that's very passive and beta. ........... why dont you just approach the girl instead? it gets the same result (you talking to her) but is a lot more efficient. and you dont need to peacock to get the girl to game you. The girl will game you when you get her to invest in you. If she invests in you, she will not want to lose you. Peacocking will get her interested in you for a few seconds, getting her invested in you will get her interested in you for a LOT longer. http://rsdnation.com/brad/blog/get-huge ... irl-invest |

Yes it is passive but I kind of like it. I wouldn't recommend you to use it as your only pick up routine but variation is fun. And if it works for you go for it, it seems like you are having fun! You could start the night by doing this and if you don't have anyluck after...oh say your first beer... you could switch to a more active method |

Absolutely. Naturally, this is not my only openning method, that would be ridiculous. It just came from a phaze in my life where I was obsessed with literature and Bukowski. I decided to try my hand at writing and found that women here responded to the intellectual look of someone in a dishovelled state scrawling passages in a secret note book. I do agree that it comes off as passive, but my thought was mysterious and quiet, rather than loud and outgoing. Of course, again, this was my idea a few years ago. |
