I say dont make it blatant that you have a girlfriend, drop it in there as a neg or subtly in a story. Its important imo that you just keep going after you say it because u dont want their minds to linger on the subject longer than necessary to trigger the attraction switch.

Use it as a DHV spike in a story, and dont make it blatant. I read a very good guide on story telling that tells you to make subtle remarks that really only women pick up.

Guys in the set usually take as face value and dont think about it. Girls automatically think that you brought home a girl. But because u didnt make it such a big deal their guna believe you have a HV cus u dont care!

Pre-selection is great, but ure actually bring girls with you ie. pivots what the point in talking about a girlfriend? Actually wait..lol now i think about it, thats probably even better as long as u keep it sneaky!
