| Post subject: | Anyone know Style's EV Routine? |
I've recently been downloading a lot of PU material on everything and i read somewhere about using 'Style's Eliciting Values Routine' and heard that many HBs respond very well to it.. iv read Ross Jeffries' Eliciting Relationship Values Routine (and im guessing there quite similar) so does anyone know exactly how to deliver Style's version of this routine? |

"STYLE'S EV ROUTINE: -what is the experience you most enjoy doing? (she'll say dancing or being with family or something) -what is the ideal scenario of you doing that thing. descrive it.. -so picturing that RIGHT NOW, how do you feel.. what emotions? -"so really then, while I was asking you this, you smiled.. and yeah its kind of because I'm being a bit funny or weird or whatever.. but also, its because you could kind of feel that emotion right now, while we were talking about it.. can you feel it.. blah blah" -so really then, even though your favourite experience is dancing, your core value is fun and excitement.. So what's most important to you is the experience of fun and excitement, and whatever leads you to that is most important.. blah blah -OK, so in 4 minutes we've fulfilled your quest for core value. You can die now. IOW, -FAVOURITE ACTIVITY -DESCRIPTION OF HER FAVOURITE ACTIVITY IN AN IDEAL SETTING -WHAT EMOTION SHE GETS WHILE SHE PICTURES THIS -SHOW HER THAT SHE EXPERIENCED THIS EMOTION WHILE PICTURING IT -SHOW HER THAT WHAT SHE REALLY WANTS IS NOT SO MUCH THE ACTIVITY ALTHOUGH ITS IMPORTANT), BUT THE EMOTIONAL FULFILLMENT SHE GETS FROM IT -TELL HER SHE CAN DIE NOW" |

Here is my transcript version of it: Style’s Eliciting Values (EV) PUA: I’m going to ask you three questions. They are really simple questions and just answer them honestly, that’s all. PUA: First question is, if you had to choose one thing you had to have in your life to make your life worthwhile, what would that be? HB: [answer1] PUA: If you had [answer1] in your life, what kinds of things and experience would that allow you to do? HB: [answer2] PUA: At some point in the future in your life, imagine the perfect scenario with [answer1] and [answer2] in sync. You have no conflict and everything is perfect in the exact way you want it. Imagine that fantasy. How would that make you feel inside? What would be the feeling you get? HB: [answer3] PUA: So that’s your core value, [answer3]. You gave the words [answer3] to it, because you couldn’t really describe it. As you said it, you had that feeling inside of you and I could see you had that feeling inside of you. You fulfilled your life goal in 3 minutes. You can die now [smile]. PUA: So [answer3] is your core value. [answer2] is your path to that feeling of [answer3]. Sometimes you can get your [answer3] from a guy, from a physical activity or the work that you do. So the core value that your are really after in life is [answer3] feeling. So if you have to make decisions in your life, and this the lesson and I’ll charge you $5 after this [smile], like about guy, a job, moving or anything significant you can use that [answer3] feeling as your guidance. What brings you close to that feeling is the right thing to do. |
