I was glancing through a female friend's facebook pictures, including a bunch with her face next to her boyfriends. I found that in those close up, two person shots, he would do a different face each time. It was naturally done, he wouldn't be cycling through certain looks at each location, but he maintained a variety, from sticking his tongue out (he happened to be wearing a big green glass nose ring in those. Say that five times fast.) to a straight face, to a classic, slightly one-sided smile. I found, that just by looking through pictures of him, with his girlfriend smiling mechanically each time, I had a really good idea of how his face looked. (And that actually isn't so common, think of all the times you insisted "She's way better looking in person!" to your friends.) By having a good sense of how he actually looks, and somewhat one of who he is, by the poses, I had a natural tendency to like him. If any of you are in LTR's, I recommend trying these two face close-ups occasionally. It will endear you to most of her friends (except the assholes trying to steal her). |
