I was in the college bookstore looking for a book I needed to buy- found it and held on to it. Then a girl approached me noticing the book and offered to sell it to me for cheaper because she already took the class. We talked about school while walking to her car I paid her, gave her a hug, got her name, but no number...she mentioned she had a boyfriend when I told her my name because we shared the same name ugh. What could I have done to further escalate despite her being in a relationship? |

"My boyfriend has the same name" "Wow, my boyfriend has a submarine" Look her straight in the eye. Awkward pause. Grin. Continue like nothing happened. Remember that girls have no boyfriend until they start physically rejecting your kino using their BF as an excuse. |

I just don't know how to take it further from meeting to number close. Just today, I walked past this guy apparently talking to a girl he didn't know and I heard her saying "..but I have a boyfriend" and he was like "c'mon, don't be like that" or something. Would've loved to jump in and save her but had no idea how to go about that. |
