was texting a girl who was clearly interested in me, and after exchanging pictures told her i was busy and she should give me a call the next day. she didn't call, so should i call her? |

I was considering that but I get the feeling that calling is more direct and better for hooking someone in. A bad phone call could do the opposite so should i just txt her? |

Exchanging pictures via text messages, or did you meet her online? If online, then text would be fine, but if you number closed after meeting in person a phone call seems like the natural progression. Don't be nervous, you've already spoken to her, she likes you, as cliche as it is, be yourself on the phone. You've got this. If you are very nervous, then I would recommend keeping the phone conversation brief, this is best done by becoming "distracted" early in the phone call (emphasis on early, because if you do it later during an awkward pause you come off as socially inept). Ex. A couple phone tips: - Use a prior conversation, such as whatever you spoke about last night whenever theres an awkward pause - Think of a story, semi-related to the conversation. If you were talking about a movie in theatres, then tell a story of your friend who was trying to get to the theatre when x,y, and/or z happened, keeping him from it. |
