I met a girl in a queue at a food market last saturday, we got chatting then sat and ate our food together for 30mins. then i suggested we go and check out a gallery nearby and we spent the next couple of hours together. i saw plenty of IOIs and everything went great, afterwards we went to the park but i had to go cos my friends had been calling me. i went to walk away but she gave me a face like don't go or when will we see each other again. so i said 'im almost tempted to suggest we meet up again'. she immediately offered up her number and said we should meet soon, said she was always usually free on weekends. so, i left it until wednesday and called her at around 9.30pm but no answer. so i called her again tonight and no answer! should i text her? maybe she doesn't recognise my number, or should i just leave it? if i text her, what should i say? |

Did you leave a message? If not, you'll still need to wait a bit. Give it till next week then send a text, if she doesnt respond to that...sorry man. If you did leave a message and she hasnt called you back, she might be busy or not - either way you'll still have to wait till next week. I think it looks ok though, you're right that was a perfect number close! |

no, didn't leave a message because it just kept ringing and didnt go through to voicemail gah! thats really frustrating because there's something perfect we could do on sunday you think it would be too needy to send a text? what about calling today, maybe during lunch hour? |

Just my opinion, but I'd wait. I'm sure the event on sunday would be great, but dont risk something that could last for awhile for the sake of a single day out. Give it a couple of days and send a text. |

You are sounding really needy! I suggest you go out and talk to a few different girls today. Take your mind off her!

yeah, just let it sit for a little bit. don't try to push the issue too much a lot of things could've happened since you last saw her. just game some other chicks and send her a text or call her in a couple of days. |

You're chasing, you should avoid doing that. I suggest freezing out until she sends you a text/calls you. If she doesn't within a week, you're basically done. After that week you can give her one more shot although I don't suggest it. Send something like "I was so busy saving the world last week and didn't find any time to talk to you, how have you been?" but note: ONLY AFTER A WEEK passes without a text. I know it might be hard but IMO this is your last chance. |

yeah really strange because she gave so many IOIs and offered up her phone number, i could tell she was into me because she was really nervous and came out with some silly comments and looked so disappointed when i went to walk away after we met oh well, her loss. i wasn't really that into her, just surprised with how we ended up spending all day together |

Sorry to go against most ppls opinion but im going to bem honest. Not showing interest is sooo misunderstood by most newbies. If you see that attraction is built and she shows interest in meeting again, reward her with an IOI. telling her "I like you, you are cool." is ok. If you wait too much to show a little interest, you will turn all that good experience she had into a bad feeling. Why would you punish her for being helping a friend studing? ,Also, when you txt to do something, be specific! Just like "hey, im going to XYZ next sunday from x time to z time. Its lots of fun. Believe me, you dont wanna miss this! Bring friends if you want. Call me so we can set this up.". The reason why im specific with what to do, date and time is this: they might have plans but if she wants to go, she will and she knows what the stakes are. The worst thing you can do is "hey, what you doing sunday?" 1- you dont want to know what she is up to, so why ask? Instead, tell her straight up what you up to. Make it sound fun, and dont make it look like a date. Tell her your friends have some boring duties so they cant go. 2- by asking if she has plans, you are puting her on the spot. If she says "got no plans" and for some reason she doesnt wanna tag along, now you are forcing her to make an excuse. If she has plans, most times she will not tell you the real plans. If she wants to go with you, she will ditch other ppl, so dont ask, just tell what you up to. Asking if she has plans its like when some1 asks you "can you do me a favor?"! How the fuck are you supposed to know if you can if you dont know what it is? The person is putting you on the spot! 3- not asking what she is up to shows confidence. You are not trying to meet up, you are giving her the option to do something interesting. |

so i broke the rule about waiting a week to text her again - "hello, i've got a free guest pass to film club in xxxxx tonight if u wanna join. nothing too scary or violent i promise!" (we discussed both our tastes in films previously) 30mins later she replies - "Crap would have but I'm on overnight duty tonight. Thanks for the invite anyway. How are you? Sorry I haven't been in touch has been a bit manic." so, what do people reckon to that?? |

A good way to elicit a response is to make a statement and ask a question. For example, when I contacted girls online with a "hi" type of statement, it didn't work but then making statements like "I think women should be punished for their bad behavior. Do you agree?" gets them talking and from there you can build a conversation. so, i left it until wednesday and called her at around 9.30pm but no answer. so i called her again tonight and no answer! should i text her? maybe she doesn't recognise my number, or should i just leave it? if i text her, what should i say? Make sure though that the statement is relevant to the girl. I posted the above statement to a clearly submissive girl who was into Ds and so it was very relevant and perhaps even sexy. But the general idea is to use provocative statements followed by a question that entices her to answer. You could for instance express your view on relationships and then ask for her response. Or your view on women/men in general.. |
