Post subject:  What to do after messing up the 1st date?

Ok I've just come back from a 1st date with a girl, who I met 2 months ago, and she surely was attracted to me. But then I left for 2 months for university but managed to maintain the attraction online (I was saying to myself that it's just for the purpose of practicing). Anyway yesterday she was still attracted to me and I know it for 100%

Since I'm at university I meet a lot of girls all the time so I'm quite good at approaching, conversation within a group etc. But the truth is that I'm still an afc and this was my 1st date on which I was really aware of the game.

It started pretty good, fun small talk, but later on it was just going nowhere. I didn't know how to kino and also I felt like I've forgotten all the conversation tactics I've learnt about. It's not that I was overwhelmed by her beauty or nervous, or something. I was just frustrated because I knew it was going nowhere. So it was just boring.

I don't wanna move on until I know I have totally no chances. What should I do in this situation? Suppose I'm aiming for a 2nd date and believe I can do better. Should I pretend that nothing's happened, and just start talking to her normally? Should I acknowledge that the 1st date was terrible? Should I first meet her with her friends and rebuild the attraction a bit (I've got an easy chance to do that)? Suppose we meet for the 2nd date. Surely there would be no point in dating her for the next month like that. Should I just risk everything and try to escalate with my clumsy kino? She's 17 and has never had a bf as far as I know - maybe I should meet her and just ask if she wants to be my girl? - at least that I can do with confidence.

Do you think there's any chance she could now be blaming herself for the boredom, just as me?
