| Post subject: | Utter Confusion; Advice on girl who suggests to meet up |
This is with a target I was trying to get a day2 with (we did meet a few times prior, so more like day3 actually) few months back, but she was only partially responsive to text and after I tried calling her twice in which i got no answer; i left her in the back of my mind. So fast foward a few months, a week ago i made a random commented the HB's facebook picture and she suggests on facebook we should meet up to catch up (since we've both been busy for months), so I called her on Saturday to ask her about Sunday night. She does not answer so I texted "Boy you sure are hard to get a hold of". An hour later (at 1pm) she responds "lol morning". So I called her, and she picks up this time so i teased her about sleeping in late and had some banter. I asked her to see some Christmas lights with me on Sunday at a local garden and she agrees. I finished with "i got other plans tomorrow which i need to sort out but i'll call you tomorrow" and she said "ill see you tomorrow". Overall she seemed positive called her yesterday (sunday) and she doesn't answer. Later she texts "I have bad news! I need to go to a family dinner party tonight! i replied "Wow my flake-dar just went off like crazy, i wonder why I'm super busy on tuesday, so tmr or wednesday, pick your poison :p " No response to this Today (Monday) I called her and she does not answer. 2 questions to the community 1) any explanations why she suggests to meet up but is not responsive to her phone/text 2) what do you think i should do? SORRRY FOR THE LONG POST! |

She's playing with you and you're falling into her trap dude. After she flaked on you shouldn't have mentioned anything about hanging out. The fact that you offered another day to meet up tells her she's still got you by the balls. I would suggest not talking to her for a while. Don't allow yourself to become a doormat my friend. |

i also want a reply on how to handle this trap. it happens everywhere. Yea you can just drop it and find another girl, but still i dont like giving up its not in my competitive nature.. i really dont understand why females NEED do this but reality is they do and its annoying. if you could actually get to the date part theyd stop when they realise how fun it can be with you... but thats the catch. getting there. how do you demand your respect and deal with this, whilst still having a chance at the date....???????? |

what i would suggest would have been at the time she flaked and was still talking to you, make HER qualify herself to YOU, much more attractive then "you sure are hard to get ahold of...please go out with me, please?" lol, i know you didnt actually say that, but basically thats what it implies.i really dont understand why females NEED do this but reality is they do and its annoying. if you could actually get to the date part theyd stop when they realise how fun it can be with you... but thats the catch. getting there. how do you demand your respect and deal with this, whilst still having a chance at the date....???????? I would suggest for future reference (or if you can slip it in here, slyly though since its kinda late now) after she flakes say something like "wow, ive been with a few (insert stereotype she falls into here) before, thought u might be different. Guess I was wrong :/ Idk if thats the exact wording you want to use, but it shows that you dont give a shit about seeing her again, since she flaked on you. You call her out for being just another one of a million easily replacable girls, AND all the while DHV by saying you've been with "her type" many a time before, and its boring you now. Hope this helps |
