Post subject:  I'm So Lost With This Girl...
I met this girl friday night. She was sober, seemed really cool, and I was somewhat drunk, yet she still wanted my number. I gave her mind, since my phone was being fuckin absurd and not working right. So she texted me saying "hey it's ____! we met friday night :)" i responded in my drunk state with "hey sweetheart, it's grindhouse, told ya i wasn't too drunk cause i text just fine, but i'll text you tomorrow."

which led to an "ok goodnight." which i thought was a far cry from her last message.

So at around 4 PM the next day I text with "can't believe I had no spelling errors, how was that hookah?" (i met her while smoking hookah)

her: i have no idea lol. i don't smoke
me: lol well then you were just standing around being awkward? :p
her: no! i was meeting people lol
me: hmm likely story lol

then nothing for the rest of the day. I refused to double-text and a couple girls I know said to try again the next day. So the next day, I went ahead with "hey :) how was the rest of your weekend?"

her: "pretty good. heading out for coffee at the moment. hows ur weekend going"

me: don't tell me you're a starbucks girl. and my weekend was interesting to say the least.

her: i'm not actually. i'm going to the ____ cafe. it's like 15 blocks away lol

me: never heard of it..but a 15 block walk sounds like its worth it :p

her: well im meeting someone there. and its like the halfway point. ive never been there but i hope its worth it lol

me: hope the person is worth it cause its too far to get away if not lol

her: hahahaha yeah friend from high school

me: thats cool, so you live around her then?

her: no, about an hour away. but i have a friend who lives around here

me: that's cool i'm house shopping around here right now actually

her: nice good luck

me: thanks! lemme know how that cage is in case i feel like hiking

her: it's not too bad of a walk and it's not too hot out today

me: i want this weather forever, and lol i dunno if i should believe you :p

then nothing...at all...she lives in the same building as me...would a third conversation in a few days be a good idea or ill-advised and just cut my losses?

I was considering being like "so you never gave me a review of that cafe...i think you owe me a coffee there now." in a few days or so

You confusing me Grindhouse.

I mean...Plus,why would you think to cut your loses?

You havent even done nor tried anything yet!!

I dont see why you giving up;Im lost?

Plus,why are you stressing this coffee thing?

Next time texting her,you should be phase shifting or dishing out attraction material.

Plus,you hadnt spoken to her yet(I figure)-just texts.

Your goal from here on should be building comfort then set up a meet.

In fact,you cant build comfort yet because you havent attracted her sufficiently yet.

So,in order to go some where with this,I would

1)Get her on the phone fast(no more texts).

2)Over the phone,dish out few attraction materials,DHV story to attract her more.

3)Build rapport(not via text but convo').

4)Set up a meet...

i was considering giving up cause she would just stop responding in mid-conversation

and honestly, calling and actually talking on the phone is my weak point. I feel like, since this is the most I've talked to her, and it's through texting, calling would just seem kinda weird...

I mean, I feel like I should text her, and I mean she lives in my building...but I dunno...I'm so lost here since I met her drunk, barely remember what I said to her that night, now I'm trying to attract her...

and I feel like I'm failing

We all get butterflies when it comes to the firs call.

But Grindhouse,one cannot build comfort(rapport)via texting;it's an essential no-no in the community.

There are exception to other things,but not with this.

You have to talk to her over the phone or in person to move it forward.

Learn some phone game then.

You dont have to be on the phone with her for 2 hrs.

2 minutes per call is all you need.

She will never meet up just from texting.
