Hello everyone. I'm looking for a bit of advice on text game. And btw R.C - Ton of respect for your guide which I have read, though still feel like I need some pointers. As for "Texts are only for setting up the dates" well sure, but I also disagree. When you meet someone online, texts and chat etc are your main source of communication, and you need to build some sort of attraction through the texts, otherwise the girl will never meet up with you. I have met quite a few girls from tinder and other online services, and I can get laid no problem. The problem arises when I meet someone I really like and truly connect with, or someone I see potential for something more than just casual sex with. I recently met someone, same age as me (25) from an online service. We connected quite well, got her number in just a few messages, note the messages were long and interesting though. She usually responds to my messages within 5 minutes, even though she writes 3-5 sms's worth of text, and she asks me a lot of questions to keep the conversation flowing. We texted back and forth the entire first night after exchanging numbers. She never opens me though, and I feel like maybe I am not DHV'ing enough on text, not keeping her interested enough for her to want to meet up. I did try to meet up with her once. We talked about what we were doing that night, and she mentioned she was probably just gonna chill on her couch with some netflix, she asked if I had any recommendations as to what she should watch.. I replied something along the lines of "Yeah, I might have a few ideas.. Wanna watch something together?" to which she replied "Yes" and then I wrote "Cool, I'll eat and go to your place after" and then I got the "Wow, that was quick..." I think she thought we should watch the same movie/show, but from our own seperate places... I played it cool and just said something like "Some other time. Yesterday I tried one of the openers from this forum "Hope you're smiling, if not, just think of me I have been in a relationship for a long time, but I seem to remember being the hunted, rather than the hunter.. It kinda feels like I am missing some important key to really get the girls really hooked at this point. |

Quote: Hello everyone.
The point of that was avoiding "How was your day" text conversations. Flirting is a means to an end. Meaningless texts however lead nowhere. You don't have to text with the intention of asking her out, but with the intention of building up to that. Purpose which, again, "how was you day" type of conversations do not serve.I'm looking for a bit of advice on text game. Oh she knew exactly what you meant. Except she wasn't completely comfortable with the way you formulated it. "Cool, I could come over but you have to promise to keep your hands to yourself". Most women don't want to be seen as sluts or "sure things". She knew whats up, and had you made it less blunt, she'd have happily accepted. PS: Glad you enjoyed the guide. |
