Post subject:  Quick response needed: Is this a creepy or effective?

So met this HB9 for bowling (not the same one I mentioned in another thread). She verbally expressed being really into me. She didn't mind physical contact with me throughout the date but was hesitant about escalation, initially saying she doesn't kiss on the first date but the date ended with a peck anyway. She's leaving for Tibet for 3 weeks in a day or two. She said she'd keep in touch with me by e-mail while there and see me the weekend she gets back. I texted her a fairly standard text when I got home, and she replied in the morning, "Ha, sorry to miss this text last night, I was fast asleep by the time it came in! I had a good time too, looking forward to January!"

So I feel like I should try to text her before she leaves, to remind her of me to increase the odds we'll actually stay in touch, before she goes off the phone grid. I went to Six Flags (rollercoasters and christmas lights) with a more established girl on Sunday and wanted to say. "Did something on Sunday that made me think of you." she replies, and then my follow up would be, "Went to Six Flags with some friends, but it was colder than I expected Would have been more fun to have you along Maybe next time Look forward to hearing about your adventures in Tibet" Of course the reason she didn't come along was because it was the day after our first date and it was actually with another girl, but that's not the point. Would that text come across well in the above situation, or just creepy? I think I have about 24 hours to send it, but not sure exactly when she's leaving. Thanks in advance!

It's not bad. The girl likes you; this frames you as someone who isn't just sitting around and puts you in her mind before she goes on the trip. I would have the message be more flirty but that is just me.

Thanks for the reply. I did text her and the response was positive - she reiterated having a great night and said she'll talk to me on her return January 6th. We'll see what happens. :)... Though I do wonder how long to wait after that day for her to initiate contact before trying myself, given that it would have been 3 weeks after our date at that point.

It's obvious she likes you. Have you e-mailed her yet since she left? I would take it slow with e-mails as well.

No she had said towards the end of our date that she intended to e-mail me about her trip during the trip, but it hasn't happened so far (1 out of 3 weeks in). I do have her e-mail, but my plan was to wait for her to e-mail, reply if she e-mails, and then wait for her to text, and then if she doesn't within a few days of the 6th I would text her. Not sure if that's too passive or if doing more would appear needy.
