So obviously this is a good thing, however I have a couple concerns due to my particular situation. Note: it was her idea to come cook for me. I invited her out dancing and she had a family emergency, and she recognizes the ball's in her court so this is what she came up with.

So my concerns:

1) I live in a house full of mostly male roommates. I have my own small room with only a twin mattress for a bed. One of my roommates has anger issues and he punched a hole in the bathroom door. People have also written messages in Sharpie across the bathroom door and wall next to it, and the house is overall pretty ghetto. It's not exactly the ideal environment for seduction. No light dimmers, no reliable privacy etc.

2) I don't cook or have my own spices and common ingredients, and it's kind of every man for himself here. Obviously not where I want to live long term but this is where I live and these are my roommates. She is Mexican. Should I expect her to know to bring her own ingredients, ask her what ingredients she needs and buy some of them and she brings others, or what? And should I help her cook, or what should I be doing while she's cooking? I've never had a first date like this.

Or alternately, should I take her somewhere else, and wait til we know each other better before I bring her to my place in my particular situation? She did alternately invite me to a nice restaurant, should I assume she's planning to treat me since she missed the date I had planned? I mean she's hot but she's really into me, my text and phone game has been textbook with her so far, pure art if I may say so.

Bring her with you to the grocery store and get some stuff together so she can cook for you. Be light hearted and funny about your current circumstances. Let her know that you are trying to become a better man but you are also grateful for what you have in your current situation.
