To cut a long story short, I met this 45 year old widowed cougar on **** in November last year. I met her for coffee at some point during the day she she took off from work to meet her. I was not around in Dec and hence could not meet her for another date soon. We twice planned lunch in January but both of the times I flaked as once I was too lazy and the second time I was sick. Lost contact for a while but on valentines day I sent her a witty message and she replied to me. She told me that she was going out with a guy and I told her that she is a nice person and deserves a good valentines day. I guess she was quite happy to hear that and we reconnected after that.

Anyway, I met her again last week for the second time for an ice tea and we did have an interesting conversation regarding travel plans, life etc etc. She said that she was seeing a few guys but it has kinda stopped now as she has to take care of other things. I am positive that she likes me as a person but not sure if she wants to fuck me. I asked her out for a dinner on Thursday but she wants to go out on Saturday night for dinner (a signal ?). The idea was to get her to cook dinner for me in her house but she says that the date wouldn't be nice with her 7 year old daughter in the house. Over this time I have given her overtly sexual messages over texts and she has responded well to it.

I think she wouldn't mind if I try to get physical in a smooth manner. Just not sure how to go about it. Any advice ?

If she is responding positively to your sexual inuindo, then escalate from inuindo to more open language. You need to get her talking dirty and thinking about "sex with you", if you've shared a few drinks and she is talking about other guys and life, etc., then she is not thinking about sex with you! I'm not sure how old you are or the age difference between the two of you, but women in the 35+ range know what they want, all they want is for you to lead the way. If you've never been with a woman 35+ then you may be in for the fucking of your life! Most girls that age are very sexually confident once they get into the bedroom.

If she's mentioning other guys and seeing you, she's not satisfied and wants you to do the satisfying. She wants to go out Saturday because older people have a harder time going out during the work week. See if she can get a babysitter, or you can fuck her in the car in the driveway. You asked her out and then disappeared on this chick. When you reappeared you then decided to flake out on your dates with her. She then brings up other men she's seeing. (No, this does NOT mean she's dissatisfied with them. Women do not bring up other men to guys they like).

Cut to 2013 - she's now telling you she's stopped dating the guy(s) and is willing to date you on a Saturday.

Uh, I wouldn't put too much stock into this chick. You basically rejected her (through your actions) at least three times. Most women don't handle rejection well. More than likely, she's bored and has no one else to see and you're now available and around so why not?

Unfortunately, most women with small children will not bring you home with their kids around. That's actually tells you that she has a good head on her shoulders for not bringing a strange man into the house with the kids. She didn't back out either after that out of paranoia.
