So I got this girls number last friday, texted her that it was nice meeting her on Saturday and got a good response a few minutes later.

I called her up yesterday (monday) but she didn't pick up the phone. She texted me one hour later saying that she is sorry she couldn't pick up the phone and how I was.

So I called her about 30 minutes after that and basically the convo went like this:

Me: hey how you doing? just wanted to see how you are?
Her: Oh Im fine thanks, have the flu right now but trying to recover. How's your day been?
etc...
Me: Oh yeah btw there's this festival that's on this Friday that I've wanted to go to for some time now and was thinking whether you can come along?
Her: Ohh..well you see my parents are strict about this type of stuff. Because you see your a guy and I am a girl.
Me: Ohh...well look at it this way, it's just a festival and you are an adult.
Her: Okay I'll ask them and let you know.
Me: Also want you to know that I enjoyed talking with you last Friday and would love to do it again
Her: * Laughs a bit *
Me: Well if you can't make it on Friday we can catch up over coffee.
Her: Okay I'll ask them and message you. Take care.
Me: Okay I'll wait for your reply take care.

So yeah I figured I'll wait it out till Thursday night. Wanted to know what you guys thought of how I approached the convo and whether I should give her a call or not on Thursday. For me, I am feeling 50/50 in calling her on Thursday SPAM.

What are your ideas guys?

Use her strict parent to engage in shared secrets.
I mean, everything the two of you going to do together has to be secret.
Girls love secrets and when you two share fantasy secrets this can be realy benificial.

When you see her thuesday say things like;
You: So are you with me now or did you tell your parents you are with a girlfriend ;)(shows you have insight in girls psycology)
than play with her and tell her you will practice girly voices in case her parrents call.

You: Come lets go here, just say it is all my fault ;)
you: Are you allowed to buy an icecream with me/watch a movie with me, or should we keep this a secret?

Look at it like this; You are this harmless girl that is being kept very strict. Your role is to be the guy that shows her things she is not allowed to and to take the responsability of her. ITS ALL YOUR FAULT. and be pround of that

Okay thanks but first off I don't see this girl on a weekly basis. Just once a month at this event, if at all.

I think she probably used the "strict parents" thing as an escape strategy, I dunno.

If she doesn't call/msg by tomorrow I am just going to forget about her, won't even bother calling.

Good move?

Don't put too much energy into it. Be prepared to move on. Belittle her and make her feel immature for listening to her parents. Sound kind of surprised by her rejection. Be like "Oh wow. Most girls your age get to do what they want. Don't worry about it, my other friend Jenny wanted to go to so I'll see if I can get her to go with me instead."

Lol whether she calls and rejects or does not call and I see her next week at an event I was actually planning on saying something similar along these lines. :P Nice one.
