About 3 weeks ago, I started hanging out with a girl. We went for dinner (with a group) and went to a party. Both times, she showed strong IOIs, and by the end of it, we shared a cab ride where she had her head on my shoulder and my arms around her.
Following that, we haven't had very long conversations. We would see each other every 1 or 2 days at university, but never have more than a 5 minute conversation before either she or I left to do whatever we were doing. It died down gradually, and I think it had to do with my lack of reaction to her flirting (though I did a little).
She took my cigarettes to 'try to help me quit', and would give me a couple every day when we met at school. I think it's her way of making sure she sees me every day. I would text/call her to ask where she was, and she would come to where I am to give me my cigarettes, and then she would leave after a 3 minute conversation.
I'm wondering what my next step should be. Should I not see her for a couple of days and pick it up from there, or should I continue this trend and hopefully have a longer conversation to lead to a 1-on-1 D2? Her IOIs have definitely diminished from before.
