When you have your first or second "meet up" and if there's any money involved like food or admission to anything, how should you handle it? |

Imo you pay if she doesn't insist otherwise. It's maybe old-fashioned, but still manly. |

What I do is pay for the meal but make her pay the tip. Women will always at least try to fight over the cheque or at least pay their bit. It's here after a tug-o-war over it that you say "I'll make you a deal: I'll get the meal, you get the tip. Okay?" She'll look a bit bothered by it and probably insist on paying at least half one more time but if it's going well you can secure another date and say "Next time we'll switch it around." If a woman expects you to pay then you can expect a lay. Ha. But really, if I come across a woman who expects a free meal out of me I just drop her. |

I'm with hijo. Or I make them atleast work for it. One "date" i met the girl with a two coffees in my hands. But when it was time to go ice skating I made her pay for her own ticket. How? When I got to the register I asked for one ticket and just waited for her to come up to the register for her turn and left it that way. Silence is a great conversational lubricant if used correctly. |
