Hey I'm pretty new to the city of montreal and I wanted to know what are the best places to take girls out. I know a couple of pubs on st-denis, but do you know some cool places other than a pub? |

Hey I just thought about that, would you say that the first section of more like a first date (more casual, not too much pressure to make something happen) and the second section would be like second date (more serious, I really get to know the girl) ? |

I used to live in Montreal, so here I share a lill. - botanical Garden. The pond section is a must specially for KC!!! - the old town, although I imagine now is getting cold there. - Mont Royal, the lac des castors, and the view at the top of Mont royal is nice. BTW if you follow the track that goes down to Rachel the views are really nice and is a plus, plus if you go with the right girl - Santa Anne de bellevue. Outside of Montreal, really nice views of the lake and a place where there is nothing to get distracted with, perfect for talking. - coffee places and restaurants in Mont Royal St. Places to avoid if you are going with your target: - anything around Cresence St, there are too many players, some of them very good. - the bowlery and the plan B bar, I used to sarge there, and is very easy to pick up girls because of the way the bars are organised - Rouge and tokio bar, if you are sarging is perfect, if you are with your girl, stay away. hope it helps!! |

Thanks man! I will try to avoid the places you mentionned but in the worse case it could just be an opportunity to practice the anti-AMOG stuff |

yea good choice to not choose club, for date location, usually i combine fun with romance, so if i did laser tag i will go for a coffe or something that can shift into something more quiet to build report and sexual tension so I can close the deal after that. |

yeap, combine of fun activities with somewhere quiet is always a winner. Also, learn to clean your place regularly is a good way to prepare for logistic. Have a good set of music that lead to the mood is a good idea too. |

looks like I'm not doing so bad in this area. I clean it regularly (at least a minimum to receive people) and my ipod speaker is always in the living room ready for my always-charged ipod.

The picture of these may sound cheese but "candles is a key". I brought a girl home the other day. Just lighted some candles here and there while she went to the bathroom. when she saw the candles, she immediately got into a romantic mood. haha! Definately not the kind of things that 20 years old boys do. I'd probably wait for things to be more serious to do it. |

NorthBoy> You'd be surprised about Drag Queen shows or gay bars Girls get entertained so much. (of course as long as they're not religious close minded girls) I introduced those Drag Queen shows to Heartnet, and I got laid quite many times taking girls to those places. The reason? Being open to gay culture makes you look open minded when most regular guys say, "ewwww WTF!?" And also you don't have to worry about other guys trying to steal your date since in the gay village more than half the guys are gay (obviously) so you don't need to be on red alert all the time which makes you less nervous during the date. I wouldn't recommend you to go there alone for the first time. You should go with someone who knows how to enjoy the places so that you'd learn the right ways. Otherwise you might just feel awkward and screw up your dates! |

Cafe Art Java Lounge 279 Sainte-Catherine St E Monday Jazz (free show from 8:30) Tuesday Salsa (free entry) Upstairs Jazz bar http://www.upstairsjazz.com/ 1254 MACKAY Jazz concerts every night. If you need early evening shows, they have free shows from 5:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Other days costs $5 entrance House of Jazz http://houseofjazz.ca/ 2060 Rue Aylmer Entrance $5 Really great SPAM. Probably my favourite jazz bar of all. You can talk to performers even! Stash Cafe A Polish restaurant in Old Montreal with great environment. Dark lighting is perfect for romantic dates. Live pianist playing a lot of tunes which adds up spice to candle lit dinner. This won't be for day 2 probably but... ITHQ Restaurant Quebec's government run hotel management school offers really fancy cuisine with the service to actually match it. If you can afford, you can go to the regular restaurant. If you are a student and eat well without paying much, you need to reserve the student restaurant where they serve Italian or French appetizer and main dish (pretty impressive actually) for about $15 per person. Both real restaurant and student restaurant have great cocktails/drinks/wines to accompany as well |
