| Post subject: | How to Handle Possible Flaking |
Hey guys, I got this girl's number a few days ago, and we texted on and off about getting lunch today. My question is whether or not this girl is attempting to flake, and how to prevent/ or act on this: Bla bla talking and flirty texts setting up logistics then... Me: You said you had no preference where we ate, so we're going to the most exotic and expensive restaurant I can find.... Her: Why would you pick an expensive place?! Haha Me: Called a joke Me: K there's an Olive Garden near where we met, let'd do that Her: Sounds good (A couple hours later) Her: Could we do dinner? I have an appointment at 2. Me: Yep, does Olive Garden still work? Her: yea whatever is fine! (Next day, noon) Me: Ok I'm busy till 4, so if you're free then, let's plan for 5 Her: Umm... I'll have to check if I'm busy Me: I'm flexible in the evening, you said dinner works, pick a time! Her: I'm huse sitting and the people are coming back sooner than expected so my best friend and I have to clean, so i dunno how long that would take It seems legit, but I don't want to give in if it's bullshit... I figure I have no reason to doubt her, but does this appear to be a flake in the make? Thanks guys |

I would think not to tolerate her repeated change of schedule. Think what an alpha male would do. I can accept one alteration to give the girl benefit of doubt, but I would not take a second because that would be clear disrespect of my time. I'm not saying that you bitch at her for changing, just act cool and tell her that you've got plans already. |
