Post subject:  Has this txt game conversation gone stale?

Hey guys.

So theres this girl that works across the road from the video store i work in. We have been flirting each time we see each other for the past few weeks, and then a few days ago I got her phone number off her.

This morning I sent her a text saying the following (also, note that each time she comes into the store I give her dvds for free, to which she jokes that if she were to run away with them, I'd get in trouble).

Me: "Hey so now that i have your number, it will be harder for you to run away with dvds hired on my account...You're crazy man, you could have hired out half the store and fled across the border to Mexico to run an illegal dvd ring on the black market!"

Her: "How did you find me out?? Oh well, Ill just have to change my number. Guess if im running an illegal mexican dvd ring maybe a new identity wouldnt be such a bad idea either...Didnt get much for those chick flicks though, next tiem i come in ill have to raid the new releases. Ill cut you in if you keep quiet, 5%"

Me: I like the way you think, partners in crime! With my expertise in dvds, having graduated from Harvard with a Doctrine of Dvdology, we will be invincible. However, I fear my chocolate addiction may set our pofits back a bit over Easter. im sure you can understand!"

So my question is: has the conversation gone stale from here? I mean, there's not really anything she can reply to that right? Like, there are things she could reply back, going further with the little playful story game thing that we're doing, but it will just be dragging the story out further than necessary, potentially just making it lame.

I feel like perhaps i should have left the conversation with an open question on the end, like "Much on for Easter?"

What are peoples thoughts on this...I'm just trying to think where to go from here. I kind of almost feel like me playing further into this little story line, as i did in my second message, might come across as lame to her, as if my intent is obvious, but i havent allowed the conversation to progress from the little story game we were playing.

Thoughts anyone?

SO lame. Here's why.

NO. It came across as LAME (and it DID) because your intent was NOT obvious.

Do you want to put your penis in this girl?
Is that your intent?

I didn't read it in these texts...

You're being a penis-less, over-joking bitch boy, if I may be so harsh.

Your jokes were so complicated and confusing, I lost the humor in them. And why do you give her free dvd's???

Make your texts shorter and more to the point. I don't understand why you decided you should give her free dvds. SET UP A DATE.
